DO NOT ENTER THIS PRIZE DRAW IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN FRANCE. ENTRY INTO THIS PRIZE DRAW CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.  

These Terms and Conditions are in addition to and should be read together with Shares.io Terms, “Shares T&Cs” (as they may be amended from time to time) and are incorporated herein by reference. If there is any inconsistency between the Shares.io Trading Terms and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions will apply.

Dates

This prize draw begins on 30 October 2023 at 1pm CET and ends on 3 November 2023 at 3:59 pm CET (“Closing Date”). No further entries will be considered once this deadline has passed.

Who May Enter

This prize draw is open to France residents, aged 18 years or over, who are Users of the Shares app as defined in Shares.io Trading Terms; except for employees of Shares and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or involved in the prize draw.

How to Enter: 

Eligible Entrants (“Entrants”) must:

• Have downloaded the Shares app (download is available at no cost).
• Have been through the full onboarding process on the Shares app and have read and accepted Shares T&Cs.
• Have at least one (1) bank account connected to the Shares app, in order for Shares to pay prize money if entrant is a winner of the prize.
• Have been selected by Shares as a Founding Member.
• Make a screenshot of the portfolio of assets the Entrant has built on the Shares app or of a specific trade the Entrant has concluded on the Shares App, then share that screenshot on their private Instagram account, tagging Shares_FR on that post.
• Upon completion as stated above, the Entrant is automatically entered into the draw to win the Grand Prize of 50€.

Notification

Shares will notify the winner by direct message (“DM”) on the dedicated Founding Members Slack channel  by 4:59pm on 3 November. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 72 hours of DM, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Payment of Prize Money

The winner will receive a 50€  credit payment on their Shares account. This payment will be transferred to the Winner’s Shares account by 6pm on 8 November.

The 50€ prize will be non-withdrawable for 30 days from the date of transfer to the winner’s Shares account. Fees apply in relation to your Buy and Sell orders in accordance with Shares T&Cs.

Miscellaneous

There are no limits on how many times an Entrant may enter, however the Entrant will only be entered once into the draw. 

Winners are selected at random by a software, from all entries received and verified by Shares and or its agents.

Shares accepts no responsibility for entries not received, nor for incomplete entries. Shares is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this prize draw.

Shares reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw without notice. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to Entrants as soon as possible by Shares.

Shares’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding such decision(s).

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. 

Except as specifically provided herein, all applicable taxes and usage charges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any other Social Network or form of social media. You are providing your information to Shares and not to any other party.

No entry may contain any offensive or vulgar content or depict any pornographic or illegal act. Any entry containing inappropriate content, as determined by Shares in its sole and absolute discretion, will be considered ineligible and will not be part of the prize draw. Each Entrant also agrees that Shares may disqualify the Entrant from the prize draw if Shares believes, in its sole and absolute discretion, that an Entry fails to comply with the Shares T&Cs. If Shares rejects any entry, such Entry will be disqualified and will not be considered a valid entry.

By participating in this prize draw, each Entrant agrees to release and hold Shares and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly from: 1) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein; or 2) participation in the prize draw or any prize related activities.

Privacy

By accepting a prize, the winner consents to Shares's use of their name and image in any publicity material for legitimate business purposes, which may include advertising and promotional activities, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Shares’ Privacy Policy is available here.
